Crep di Ralt

Crep di Ralt

The Crep di Ralt summit in the Italian Prealps near Belluno offers a magnificent panorama and a trail that is a real downhill treat.

Description

The route starts in Dardago. From here, the route continues on asphalt to Coltura and in the same manner over a few hairpin bends to Mezzomonte, where you can already enjoy a fantastic panorama. At Mezzomonte, turn left and pedal towards Crep di Ralt. From Mezzomonte you reach the Strada Forestale, where the uphill now changes to gravel. The Casera Val di Lama near the Crep di Ralt elevation is a real power spot. Good panoramic views, pleasant temperatures, especially in spring and fall, and an inviting, gentle backdrop give hope for a great descent.

The descent is along Sentiero 984 troi die muli. A multi-pitch trail in a class of its own. It descends between difficulty levels S1 and S2 to the Pizzeria Allo Schalet. From here, you switch to the next trail section via the Torrente Artugna, which forms breathtaking pools with crystal-clear water in places, before finally returning to Dardago. All in all, this is a rewarding and varied descent, which is particularly attractive in spring and fall, as there is little vegetation during this time and therefore a good view.

The ascent to Mezzomonte is better on the gravel road instead of the asphalt road. The Casera Lama Slick Rock Trail offers a wonderful extension to the tour. Lg
