Description

The start is in Meduno. From here, the route follows the south-facing slopes with light vegetation towards Stalla Giordani and then on to Rifugio Valinis. At Rifugio Valinis, the route continues a few meters towards the saddle, where countless paragliders take off in good thermal conditions. Afterwards, the bike is pushed/carried a few more meters up to the summit of Monte Valinis. The reward is a magnificent view towards Friuli/Veneto and, on a clear day, as far as the Mediterranean Sea.

The trail descent is in a class of its own. In the difficulty range from S1 to S2, it remains in this style. A fantastic mule track winds its way down the southern slopes and only reaches S2+ in a few places. Otherwise, it is a magnificent descent that never ends. At Costa, you finally return to civilization at the church and a fountain and roll relaxed along Via Roma back to the starting point.
