From Buchs train station, initially follow the signposts for the Wildmannli bike route to Grabs, but turn right in the village center, keep left at the northern end of the village and finally reach the signposted Öblerg route of the Mountainbikeland. Now follow the signs for route number 460 and ascend via the village of Schönebode to Wildhaus. Just below the village center, the route branches off to the left as far as Lisighaus and then climbs on a small road via Schwenid to Alp Ölberg. The highest point of the tour is reached here, and the descent back into the Rhine Valley awaits. Initially continue to follow the signposted Route 460, but then turn left onto Route 55 (Wildmannli-Bike) towards Leversschwendi. Follow the little road downhill to the Rogghalm inn, where a single trail branches off to the right. This leads to Studnerberg and you follow the hiking trail markings to Untergatter and Werdenberg. Immediately above the village, turn right again and follow a singletrail directly into the village of Buchs.
