Bin einen Teil der Tour auf meiner Mont-Blanc-Umrundung am 16.07.2024 gefahren. Da ich vom Col Ferret her kam bin ich beim Chalet Val Ferret in die Tour eingestiegen. Wie im Tourenbeschrieb schiebt man dort das Bike anfangs grösstenteils. Ab dort dann ein Supertrail bis zum Rifugio Bonatti. Ab dort habe ich die Variante via „Col entre deux Sauts“ genommen, würde ich aber nicht mehr machen. Bereits ab dem Rifugio war ich immer wieder am Schieben, und die Abfahrt vom Col selber war für mich zu ruppig und zu wenig spassig. Danach geht es schiebend oder tragend bis zum Tête de la Tronche, dieser Aufstieg lohnt sich aber zu 100%. Einerseits der phänomenalen Aussicht wegen, andererseits aber auch wegen dem superschönen Grattrail und Downhill bis zum Rifugio Bertone. Extraklasse. Ab dort wird der Trail dann schon sehr ruppig, aber trotzdem für mich gerade noch fahrbar. Das letzte Teilstück musste ich dann leider aus Zeitgründen auslassen, werde ich aber sicher das nächste Mal nachholen. Denn das nächste Mal wird es bestimmt geben! Ich fahre ein Scott Genius Ultimate, bin Uphill meist in der Kopfgruppe; Downhill immer der letzte, mit Abstand.

Sehr schöne Tour
Sensationelles Panorama auf der ganzen Tour. Haben das Bike aber auch auf dem Balcon de Val Ferret Singletrail einige Male hoch schieben müssen. Die 300 Höhenmeter zum Tête de la Tronche haben es in sich, man wird aber durch die umwerfende Aussicht belohnt. Der Singletrail über den Bergeücken ist sehr schön, aber vorsicht, tiefe Rinnen bergen die Gefahr mit den Pedalen anzuhängen. Volle Konzentration gefordert;-)! Stellenweise ist der Weg runter nach Courmayeur eher eine 4 in der Technikskala. All in all: tolle Landschaft und auch coole Trails, aber mit einigen Schiebe/Tragepassagen.
