We rode the tour with 11 people last week. The ascent from Challencin is very pleasant. From Alp Ors Desot the gravel road becomes steeper, some were able to push up, the others had to push. From Alp Tramail des Ors, everyone had to push for the last 150 meters. The view at the top is magnificent.
The first slope is not easy to ride, as it is very steep and the trail is more like a gully. Then you come to a flat plateau, which is very beautiful and flowy. After 1/3 of the descent it gets steep and rough, but we all had fun - of course with several breaks to take the strain off our arms :)
The lower 2/3 are S2-S3 and not suitable for beginners.
