From Courmayeur, ride uphill into Val Vény, but then keep left immediately after Plan Ponquet and head uphill on an asphalt road to the mountain station of the Zerotta cable car. The last section leads along a gravel road that is easy to ride. This is already the culmination point of the tour and a break is recommended due to the fantastic view of Mont Blanc and Val Vény.

The descent begins with a singletrail along the ski slope and a section of gravel road. At the height of Rifugio Le Randonneur, you head onto the next trail, pass the houses of Plan Chécrouit and reach the cable car mountain station and thus the start of the actual singletrail descent down to Chamonix. The first section is challenging, winding its way through the forest in serpentine mode. As the distance increases, however, the trail becomes smoother and finally you shoot towards the village of Courmayeur in flow mode. Conclusion: A wonderful tour if you want to experience the mountain bike charms of Courmayeur in a hurry.
