Na Skali
Description
The route starts at the Kamp Soča campsite. From here, the route winds its way via Mišja Vas and Črešnjica on asphalt towards Na Skali. This point also marks the border to the Triglav National Park. Cycling is strictly prohibited in the park and is rigorously enforced. The uphill section along the Soča and Vrsnica rivers already offers incredible beauty and an extreme landscape in terms of mountain peaks and forests. The extreme contrast between grassy hills and rugged rock faces could not be more different. The downhill begins in the bend under Na Skali. At difficulty level S2, in places S3, you wind your way along the ridge towards Kamp Korita. At Kamp Korita, you ride steadily downhill along the Soča on difficulty S1, a never-ending trail to the starting point. All in all, this is a short but varied tour, which is particularly ideal on hot summer days, as there are countless opportunities to cool off along the Soča.
Note: Mountain biking off official routes is prohibited in the Triglav National Park. This route contains such sections. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, with awareness of the legal situation.
