Nara Black Wood Tour
Description
The warm-up covers just a few meters in altitude from the parking lot to the Leontica lift station, where the chairlift takes you up to the Alpe di Nara via two lift sections. From here, it's straight onto the Black Wood Line, a fun and flowing bike trail spiced up with numerous jumps. Follow this until you cross the road at Addi. You skip the last section of the Black Wood Line and instead roll past the hamlets of Promesciallo and Piede del Sasso, after which the Negrentino Trail begins. Here, fast and flowing passages alternate with more technically demanding sections. There are cultural and scenic highlights at the end. The turn-off to the parking lot at the chairlift is right next to the pretty church of San Carlo di Negrentino. Then cross the narrow suspension bridge over the spectacular gorge and pedal a few meters up to the parking lot.

We really enjoyed combining the Black Wood Line with the Negrentino. However, the Black Wood Trail can be ridden to the end. Then immediately left on the gravel road over to Negrentino. No significant ascent and more MTB-like. It can also be seen on the trail map.
