Tour Olympia Loop Ardèche

Vallon-Pont-d'Arc is a hot spot for outdoor sports enthusiasts. So it's no surprise that the CREPS Olympic training center is also located there. A modern cross-country course was also built not far from the center to offer French mountain bikers the best training opportunities on site. When no official training sessions are taking place, this trail is open to the public and well worth a visit.

Description

From the public parking lot on the outskirts of Salavas, opposite the Casque Roi campsite, you ride through the old part of the village of Salavas to the Place de la Calade, where you take a short descent to the Chemin de la Boissonnade. You now head along the edge of the forest to the training route. This can be ridden or shortened as you wish. There is even a small viewpoint at the eastern end of the route. The way back is practically the same, except that you stay on the Chemin de la Boissonnade and ride back to the parking lot from there.
