If I’d known we were going to ride—or rather, carry—the bike yesterday, I would have read the reviews sooner. If you don’t mind carrying your bike every now and then—even for longer stretches—this route is highly recommended. That said, you should stick to a Light E-MTB at most. Nothing was overgrown; it took us a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes to cover 27 kilometers with 340 meters of elevation gain.
Tried to ride this route today. Unfortunately we didn't read the entry from April 05th. We also broke off after a few kilometers. The trails are so overgrown. Met two bikers at a fork in the road who had done the aforementioned carrying and climbing sections. Their arms were badly scratched. They strongly advised us not to do it. We then tried to ride other trails using the sat nav. Every time a dead end and no way through. It seems that the trails in this area are not maintained (anymore), what a shame!
We wanted to ride this route over Easter 2024, after the 2nd trail and x. We abandoned the tour after the second trail and umpteen carrying and climbing sections. This has nothing to do with biking! For a hike without a bike, this tour would be absolutely great.
