Tour de la Brasserie
Description
From the brasserie at 115 Allée des Cades outside Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, cross the main road via the traffic circle and take the country road to La Loubière. Now it's off-road, up a crisp but beautiful trail climb. After Les Terriers, there is another leisurely section on a side road until the terrain calls again and an ascent on gravel leads to the first singletrail descent. After the fun of the trail, it's half a loop around the vines and back uphill on the other side of the hill, uphill challenge included. Those who don't want to take on the challenge can master the technically demanding passages around the "Trappe Loup", the wolf trap, on foot. You will be rewarded with the view over the region around Ruoms, where three rivers meet the Ardèche, but more importantly with the upcoming descent along the naturally flowing single trail to just before Pradons. The way back is along the old railroad tracks, which have been converted into cycle paths, and via Chaussy to La Loubière and back to the brasserie.
- Check in advance whether the brasserie is open. In addition, the brasserie is usually closed during the market in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc.

I agree with the comment above. We didn't find any single trails. A scenic XC tour. Unfortunately, the brasserie no longer exists - so perhaps the tour should be renamed so as not to raise false expectations for those who don't read the comments...
If you do this tour, you should be aware that the trail section is minimal and is more or less limited to the descent towards Praduns. And even this trail section is not particularly challenging. But there are always passages uphill where the normal biker has to dismount and push (large boulders). It remains a nice cross-country tour ... but not much more.
