Description
From Lucerne city center, the route starts at the Museum of Transport, where the ascent to Hochrüti begins. Once in the village, keep left and head into the Meggerwald forest. Staying on the hill, you pass many small moors and forest clearings, and at Allmig you reach open terrain again and a little later Haltikon. The route continues on country roads to Oberbuonas and Meierskappel, where you now tackle the way back. You climb up to Michelschrüz, follow the ridge to Uldigenswil, pass the Götzetal valley, climb up again to Dotteberg and finally head back from Adligenswil along the golf course over the Dietschiberg to Lucerne.
