Description

From Flüelen, ride along a forest road above Altdorf to Bürglen and on to the valley station of the Ruogig cable car. This takes you up to an altitude of 1730 meters above sea level and then you ride on a gravel road to Fleschsee. For the descent, take the challenging single trail on the right to Gruonmatt, ride to Hüttenboden and from here on a serpentine trail through the steep forest terrain. This is followed by a few meters on a gravel road until you turn right again onto a serpentine trail that now leads through the Gruon valley. This trail is steep and tricky and ends right on the outskirts of Flüelen.
