From Amsteg, follow the signposted mountain bike route up the valley to Wiler. Now take the road up to Gurtnellen, continuing to Ober Gurtnellen until the road turns into a gravel path at Schipfenberg, which rides to Arnisee. This lies on a small plateau, with the peaks of the Windgällen and Bristen rising into the sky on the horizon. The descent initially follows the ascent route until you turn off onto the singletrail to Intschi at the Rinderstafel. From Intschi, follow the mountain road back to Amsteg.
