From the starting point in Schattdorf, follow the mountain road up to the Schattdorf mountains, following the official mountain bike route 413 (Haldi Bike). After Hirzenboden, leave the official route and head down the technically challenging single trail into the Riedertal valley. Continue downhill along the stream until you reach the first houses in Bürglen, where you climb another 100 meters in altitude. Here you follow the official route again, this time route 430 (Downhill Haldi). This allows you to ride back to Schattdorf on a single trail.
