Gorges de Court

On the circular tour south of Moutier, the Gorges de Court is generously circumnavigated. The tour rides from Moutier to the Vallée de Tavannes and back via the Moron.

Description

In Moutier, ride southwards on Quartierstrasse and climb up a forest road to Graitery. The ascent is completed at a mountain inn, and a singletrail descent leads from here to Court in the Val de Tavannes. Along the Birse river, you reach the village of Bévilard and now head into the second ascent of the day. This rides along country and forest roads to almost the highest point of the Moron ridge. The fun descent back to Moutier begins in the immediate vicinity of an inn. On a mix of gravel roads and single trails, you follow the ridge to Perrefitte. From here, you return to the starting point on the official cycle paths.
