Kapela Bes - Drežnica
Description
The route starts in the village of Ladra near the Soča. From here, you pedal on asphalt up the hamlets on the southern slopes and keep climbing. When you reach Koča na planini Kuhinja, you should fill up with water at the parking lot before continuing steeply on gravel. At the first bend, you then cross the forest and the ridge to the Kapela Bes crossing, which was erected at the end of the First World War and commemorates the war victims who lost their lives here.
The descent is relatively easy. Mostly at difficulty level S1, in places S2, it goes down to Koseč in hairpin bends with a bit of flow. From Koseč you then cross back onto asphalt to Drežnica and continue on the trail along the Ročica. A relatively easy forest and meadow path then leads back to the starting point in Ladra. The tour is particularly suitable in spring and fall, as the orientation is south-facing. In the summer months of June, July and August, you can expect high temperatures and little water.
Note: Mountain biking off official routes is prohibited in the Triglav National Park. This route contains such sections. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, with awareness of the legal situation.

Tour ridden on 01.05.25.
Good pedalable ascent. You only have to push at the end. Very beautiful scenery.
On the trail to Kosec you can really let it run. Nice final trail along the Rocica.
If you want to add a few more trail meters, you can add a loop in Dreznica on Na Maj and take a trail back to Dreznica. A mix of flow and bumpy.
