Description

The circular tour has a classic cross-country character: five ascents and five descents, sometimes steeper, sometimes flatter; sometimes more challenging, then flowing again. A great tour with lots of variety.

The start is in Cassa de la Selva, just south of Girona. The town is easily accessible from Girona on cycle paths. The tour starts on a first trail section north of the town center, followed by the first longer ascent to the trail entrance at Turo d'en Canet. A flowing descent to a valley floor and a good trail on the opposite side back up again. This is the rhythm that characterizes the tour: beautiful, rather short descents, then another ascent (mainly on gravel) to later rejoin the next downhill trail.
