The start to the tour is crisp: past the Totesee lake, the route climbs uphill on a singletrail, and you have to keep maneuvering between the stones. The highest point is finally reached on the hill, then a trail and later an alpine road ride downhill to the small road up to Alp Unnerbodme. Climb up along this road, pass the alp and ride down into the Chietal valley to Alp Guferli. The route climbs uphill again for a while until the highest point is reached at Alp Bidmer. Via Üerlichergale, Alp Nessel and the hamlet of Bine, the route descends to Ulrichen on a first-class singletrail. The cycle path along the Rotten takes you back to Oberwald, from where you previously took the Postbus to the Grimsel Pass.

We started the tour from Reckingen and rode in Oberwald on a hiking trail towards Grimsel. With the e-bike everything is rideable and the tour afterwards is awesome and contains everything a biker's heart desires.
