Hirschberghaus

Hirschberghaus

The bike and hike tour rides up to the Hirschberghaus high above Lake Tegernsee. You have to carry and push your bike until you get there. The very technical trail requires very good bike control.

Description

At the Söllbach parking lot in Bad Wiessee, the tour begins quite comfortably, ascending slightly as you ride along the tarred road along the stream. The route soon continues on gravel. After approx. 4 km there is a steep ramp, after which you turn left and continue riding up towards Hirschberg. After almost 4 km, turn right towards Weidbergalm. Once you reach the Weidbergalmen, you now climb up the trail towards the Rauheck Alm and can still climb up to the Hirschberg summit. Continue right to the Hirschberghaus. In the upper part you can ride again from time to time, but you still have to push and carry quite a bit until you reach the Hirschberghaus. After the refreshment stop, the very sporty trail begins. Very steep, peppered with roots and rocky sections, it goes down the Kratzer descent through hairpin bends. You soon enter the forest and more hairpin bends and steep terrain follow. In the lower part, you ride a short stretch on the forest road until the easy trail to Scharling leads off to the right. Via Rottach Egern, you ride along the lake back to Bad Wiessee to the Söllbachtal parking lot.
