Blaubergalm-Runde
Description
The tour starts in Achenwald/Tyrol, from the Achensee road you ride over the Klammbach bridge and keep right until the forest road begins. You can park your car here. The forest road forks after about 200 meters and we follow it to the left. Follow the yellow signs towards Blaubergalm. After about 50 minutes we reach the Blaubergalm where we can take a short break. From here, take the hiking trail 615 towards Schildenstein. Depending on your riding ability, you may have to push your bike in places. Shortly before the Schildenstein, there is a short carrying passage. At the crossroads to the Schildenstein, turn right up to the Schildenstein and take trail 615 downhill towards Graseck, Königsalm. Caution: At the start, your riding skills will be put to the test. Here the trail is exposed with some S3 to S4 passages and only goes downhill. It becomes very difficult to ride the trail, especially in the rain. The longer we follow the trail, the more flowy it becomes. Once we reach Graseck, we leave the Königsalm on the left and ride straight on along the 615 trail towards Wildbad Kreuth. The trail now becomes very varied, with fast passages alternating with technical slow passages until the trail leads into the forest - from here it is fast and over countless roots along the slope. Caution is advised here too, as the trail is mostly damp and slippery and there are a few tricky sections that are very demanding. So we head towards Wildbad Kreuth at breakneck speed. The trail ends at a forest road, which we either take left to continue or turn right and make a detour to the Siebenhüttenalm for a break. However, the forest road climbs slightly for 15 minutes until you reach the Siebenhütten. We turn left after the trail and ride along the forest road for about 500 meters until the path to Glashütte branches off to the left. We follow this path to Glashütte. We cross the Achenpass road and ride past the Glashütte inn, after about 300 meters we turn right up the road slightly uphill and continue through an underpass. We then keep right and ride alongside the Achenpass road to the parking lot. Here we follow the forest road that rides us to the border with Austria. From there, the cycle path leads back to Achenwald. If you are in a hurry, you can also take the main road from Wildbad Kreuth to Achenwald.
Attention: The trail from Schildenstein to Wildbad Kreuth is very busy with hikers at the weekend. It is therefore advisable to ride the trail during the week or in November.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.

I can only agree 100% with the tip about hikers on the Graseck Trail to Kreuth at the weekend! The trail is beautiful, but it doesn't make much sense at the weekend as most of it is really narrow and it's really difficult to share - sometimes it's really difficult to pass each other. As a MTB rider, you can't really get into the flow - even though the trail has the potential to do so.
