Hahnkampl
Description
The tour starts at the back of the Gramai near Pertisau at the Gramaialm. Here you can consider riding into Gramai by car (toll) or taking the asphalt road from Pertisau. From the alpine pasture, a gravel path leads uphill for a few meters before turning right to the Gramai Hochleger refuge. In the meantime, the hiking trail has been completely straightened and can therefore be ridden with a light e-MTB and, for the more robust, with an organic e-MTB. Once you reach the Graimai Hochleger, you then push on to the summit of the Hahnkampl. At almost 2080 meters above sea level is the end and the summit is reached.
The subsequent descent is very varied at difficulty levels S2 to S3, but you have to expect a pushing section in the ridge area. From the Lamsenjochhütte, a serpentine path then begins back to the starting point. For all those who complete the tour with e-assistance, a light e-MTB is definitely an advantage, as the pushing sections can be easily completed in the summit area.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.
