Hirschbergsattel
Description
Start in Bad Wiessee at the Sollbach parking lot and ride towards Sonnbichl and here into the forest. The route climbs gently at first, then very steeply up to the Auernalm. Pass this and continue uphill. On the right behind the Neuhüttenalm you can see the Fockenstein. Turn left onto the cart path/trail and continue until you reach the Stinkergraben trail. Ride along this until you reach the Hirschbergsattel. Now comes a fast, long gravel descent down to Lenggries. Keep left and you come to the Röhrlmoosalm ascent. Now it's a leisurely ride on tar to the Röhrlmossalm. Here you can see the Roßstein and Buchstein in front of you. Ride past the alpine pasture on the right on the trail and keep right at the forest; the trail now becomes rocky and blocked through the stream bed until a stony cart path continues further down. Cross the stream and from here the downhill becomes fast and flowy. Beware of the risk of falling in the lower section. Continue along the slope to Hubertus and you reach the B307. Ride parallel to this on the forest road to the Schwarzentenn Alm-Roß and Buchstein junction. You can stop for a bite to eat at the Schwarzentenn Alm. Here you can enjoy the sensational eggnog chocolate cake - highly recommended. If you don't feel in such good shape, you can now roll down the descent directly to the Sollbach parking lot. If you want to experience another fast descent, ride up towards Hirschberg. At the Weidenbergalm, we cross the meadow and enter the fast, flowing Hirschberg trail (for a more detailed description, see the tour Hirschberg trail), descending swiftly to Kreuth. From here along the Weißach to Rottach Egern and on to Bad Wiessee to the start of the tour.

Weidbergalm is unmanaged and there is an unmissable MTB ban on the uphill section
