The first part of the tour begins on the shores of Lake Como near Cernobbio and rides up to the summit of Monte Bisbino via an asphalt road. The descent starts on a crisp, rough trail down to Alpe Cavazza. The route then enters the forest, where the trail becomes winding and flowy and rides into the Valle di Muggio.
