Pampeago Supertrail
Description
The starting point for this extraordinary tour is Panchià, just south of Predazzo. First you climb up the road to Tesero and continue towards the Lavazejoch (Passo di Lavaze). At the village of Stava, however, keep right and climb up the Val di Stava - all on a pleasantly ascending asphalt road. In this way you reach Pampeago, a retort hamlet at the foot of the Latermar ski area. This is the starting point of the 8-kilometer super trail (Sentiero 63) back to Tesero. It starts at a small reservoir above the parking lot. The trail winds through the dense forest along the mountain flank, flowing, fast, but occasionally interrupted by short uphill sections. The trail is something like the ultimate fun maker and its flow is hard to beat. In this way, you fly towards the village of Tesero, but keep your altitude there to take on a few more trail sections on the way back to Panchià. The verdict on the return is clear: a must for anyone who is out and about in Val di Fiemme or Val di Fassa. And a new favorite number has also been found: 63.
Tip: If you want to save yourself the climb, take the cable car from Predazzo up to Passo Feudo and from there you can reach the hamlet of Pampeago on gravel roads. The cable car is "only" in operation from mid-June to mid-September.

The ascent is on a wide, asphalted road with little traffic - especially in June, the conditions here are calm. The subsequent trail leads through dense forest on a grippy, soft surface and offers a very pleasant ride overall.
Small counter-climbs interrupt the flow in places and some narrow passages require attention. In the lower section, there are several hairpin bends that require solid riding technique.
Rating: Moderately difficult in terms of riding technique (approx. 3 out of 6). No major difficulties, but concentration is required.
Conclusion: Varied tour with a rewarding descent - recommended.
Absolutely recommendable!
Super flow trail, technically not sooo demanding - but super fun!
