From Sta Maria, take the marked cycle route up to the Ofen Pass, optionally also by post bus. Immediately after the pass summit, the singletrail leads to Buffalora, where the steep ascent to Juf Plaun begins. The plateau is the starting point for the singletrail descent past the Alpe del Gallo and the wonderful high-level trail towards the Passo di Fraéle. Shortly before this, you branch off to the left, pass the Passo Val Mora, reach the Val Mora via a first-class singletrail and climb up to Döss Radond. The long descent back to Sta. Maria begins here. Follow the signposted mountain bike route, but take the singletrail alternatives wherever possible. Once you reach the ridge far below, a singletrail branches off to the right. Landschaftlich wirklich toll, man wähnt sich zeitweise in Canada. Fahrtechnisch nicht die ganz grosse Herausforderung. Im Juni 2023 alles gut fahrbar, auf der italienischen Seite sind die Trails in Stand gesetzt.

Den Umweg via Passo Gallo kann man sich auf der Val-Mora-Tour sparen. Der Trail hinab ist ein Kiesweg ohne Schwierigkeit (S1). Die Gefahr abzustürzen fährt aufgrund der ausgewaschenen Wegen mit. Aus meiner Sicht nicht lohnenswert und zu gefährlich.
