From Sta. Maria, ride along the main road to Valchava, then keep to the right of the main road and side roads and gravel paths to Tschierv. From here you reach the Ofen Pass via the pass road. Immediately after the pass summit, you ride up a flowing, largely rideable singletrail via Alp da Munt to Furcola Funtana di S-charl, then down a steep path interspersed with steps to Alp Astras (Tamangur Dadaint). The tour now leads over the Pass da Costainas with a steep but technically undemanding descent immediately after the pass. Instead of following the alpine road, you ride via Alp Champatsch on the singletrail slightly below the alpine road to Lü. A singletrail now leads directly to Fuldera. We rode the tour on July 12 in a slightly different way :-)
We took the post bus from Müstair to the Ofenpass, the starting point.
The ascent is quite challenging at the beginning due to wet roots, before continuing on gravel roads without any problems. The route continues on wonderful single trails, sometimes flowing, sometimes challenging, sometimes down, sometimes up.
In Lü, we then "turned off" onto the "Val d'Uina (S-charl)" tour so that we could ride the single trails to the center of Müstair after the additional 250 m climb. The climb is definitely worth it, as the trail to Müstair is "world class" as described in the tour.
