Val Sinestra
Description
From the center of Scuol, ride to the hospital and from there on a gravel road parallel to the mountain road to Sent. Pass the village and follow the marked mountain bike route (442) through Val Sinestra to Zuort. After a break in the historic inn, follow the access road for a few meters, but then turn right onto a singletrail. The route continues over several suspension bridges and a first-class trail to the bridge at the Hotel Sinestra and continues on the high-level trail above the gorge to Ramosch. The route then rides along the Inn back to Scuol.

Rode the tour today. The scenery is indeed beautiful, even in late fall. As already mentioned, it is worth following route 442 from Scuol to Sent.
The descent seems to have suffered badly recently due to some rock slides. The 1km from the Hotel Val Sinestra in particular contains a few tricky passages, including some short stretches of carrying. (In each case a few meters over ledges or boulders).
Basically, the descent is a bit of a balancing act in wet conditions due to the many roots.
Cool and very impressive tour, ridden on May 28, 2020.
Recommendation: from Scuol to Sent, follow the MB route 442 on gravel paths and meadow trails, which runs above the road.
The approx. 3 km single trail to Zuort from Pt. 1691 to approx. Pt. 1488 (incl. the 2 suspension bridges) are technically classified as at least a 4, with lots of slopes and detours; then very flowy and beautiful to the main road at Pt. 1395.
The tour is highly rated in terms of scenery and trails.
The text describes the route from Scuol to Sent on the beautiful gravel road, but the GPS data takes you along the road. Shortly before Zourt, you should turn left onto the singletrail towards Griosch and not take the gravel road down. From Zourt to the Hotel Sinestra, a short section is closed due to a landslide. However, this can be easily avoided on a trail further up.
The section from the Hotel Val Sinestra to the road (Pt. 1395) is very exposed in places. All in all, however, an impressive tour!
