Milez
Description
From Sedrun, ride along the southern side of the valley along the Vorderrhein to the hamlet of Selva. Just behind the golf course, a singletrail takes you to the village of Tschamut on the Oberalp Pass road. Take the asphalt path up to the train station and continue along the little road to the alpine settlement of Milez, the middle station of the chairlift, which is not in operation in summer. You now follow a crisp single trail into Val Guiv and up the trail on the other side of the valley to the culmination point. Many people have to tackle this ascent on foot, only extremely strong bikers manage to ride it. The effort is worth it, as there is a wonderful view of the upper Surselva from up here - and it is the starting point for a top-class descent: a flowing trail interspersed with hairpin bends winds its way through the pine forest almost to Rueras - a world-class trail that is worth every meter of the arduous ascent. From Rueras, follow the main road to the starting point in Sedrun.
Alternatives: From Sedrun (by train) to the Oberalp Pass and via Pass Tiarms and Cuolm Val to MilezTip: Take the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway from Sedrun to Tschamut

The start to Rueras next to the official bike path is not recommended because of the very bad path with fir trees etc..... Stay on the official bike path there, as well as at the golf course!
The gps track crosses the Sedrun golf course, which is forbidden, and at the end of the tour the route is not ideal. through a heavily overgrown path. Tour ridden on 23.8.2016.
