Rund um Brigels
Description
From the parking lot at Lag da Breil, there is only a short warm-up ride, as the tour already leads downhill on the outskirts of Brigels. The flowing trail to Dardin is relatively easy and offers a gentle start to the tour. After a short section on a wide path, the next trail follows along the slope - a cool mix of flowing and more technically demanding passages. Now it's time to pedal - first over a gravel path, then the ascent from Run dall Ursalina up the singletrail to Brigels. Powerful bikers can also master the short steep section by riding. Back in the village, you take the single trail along the golf course, which ends after a short descent near the lake.
Now the second section of the tour begins. If you want to make the 400-metre ascent to Crest Falla easier, you can take the chairlift up between the end of April and the end of October. The next trail awaits near the mountain station. In addition to the view of the mighty Bifertenstock, it offers plenty of riding fun and one or two challenging passages. Once you reach the lower part of Val Frisal, the next 300-metre ascent to Alp Tschegn Dadens Sut awaits.
The view leads over the Vorderrheintal and the communities of Obersaxen on the other side of the valley, the descent over a mostly open trail to Plaun da Plaids. After the barbecue area there, another good portion of riding fun awaits. The descent along the beautiful forest path is somewhat reminiscent of a rollercoaster ride. Immediately after the forest road, the route climbs uphill again and along the ridge over a beautiful, rooty singletrail. After the halfway point, this leads downhill to Ual da Mulin. Experienced mountain bikers will get their money's worth here, as there are always short, technical passages on this section. The route then follows the gravel road back to Brigels, where the tour ends at the parking lot by the lake.
"Around Brigels" is the ideal warm-up for riding the tour over the Kistenpass the following day. However, if the entire route is too much for you, you can simplify the route with the chairlift or start the second and third sections directly from the chairlift.

Beautiful tour in spring, such as now in April. Tour actually consists of 3 loops, each with its own character. Beautiful trails, had a lot of fun. Nothing difficult, we were always exhausted 😀.
Cool tour. Rather easy trails at first, crisp afterwards. From Alp Tschegn Dadens Sut there is a built trail with jumps. Right from the fountain.
I don't know if you can ride the Kistenpass the next day. I was really knackered and the Kistenpass isn't easy either.
