Läntahütte

Läntahütte (Vals)

The SAC's Länta hut lies at the very back of the Vals valley. The mountain bike route from Vals to the hut and back is characterized by its wild and alpine landscape.

Description

The ascent from Vals in the direction of the Läntahütte begins harmlessly on the road up to the dam wall of Lake Zervreilasee. 600 meters of altitude are overcome in this way. You follow the southern shore of the lake, the road soon turns into a gravel path and leads up to the Lampertsch Alp. Many mountain bikers ride as far as here and start the return journey. However, the 100 meters of singletrail up to the Läntahütte are well worth it, if only because of the unusual design of the SAC hut. The return journey follows the ascent route to the dam wall. At the Hotel Zervreila, however, turn right onto a singletrail that rides slightly above the ascent road towards Vals. At the end, you cross the ascent route twice and ride down the singletrail to the first houses in Vals.
