Monte Belpo
Description
The tour starts in Casaletto and winds its way steadily uphill on the official bike route to Lumini (695 meters above sea level). You pass through the idyllic village of Lumini and then head south over the saddle to Monte Belpo. The last few meters to the summit are covered by pushing or carrying. On Monte Belpo itself, there is a fantastic view down towards southern Lake Garda, as well as Rivoli and the foothills of Vallagarina.
After a short breath of fresh air, the route continues on difficulty levels S2 to S3 over Monte Belpo to Monte Nugola in the direction of Castion Veronese. The difficulty of the entire descent can be classified as S2 to S3 and should be completed in dry conditions, as otherwise the difficulty increases sharply or it can become an unparalleled slide. Once you reach the bottom of the valley, you return to the starting point to complete this short but beautiful tour. It is particularly advisable to do the tour in spring or fall, as there is usually no snow due to the low altitude and the trails are dry.

Dear Ride Team, your tours are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. I've had a few treats so far, but today's tour up Monte Belpo was really nothing. Most of the ascent was unrideable for me with repeated 20% ramps on loose scree. You can really do without the little extra lap on Monte Belpo. The trail is just a handlebar width narrow and heavily overgrown with thorns on both sides, largely unrideable and the view unfortunately doesn't make up for it (maybe better in winter because it's not so overgrown?).
I was already pretty frustrated until the descent from Lumini came, flowing in the forest at the top, a bit more technical at the bottom with loose stones and repeated offsets and steep channels. Certainly one of the easier black trails on Lake Garda, but fun!
Dear people, find another uphill, skip the extra lap on Mont Belpo and have real fun on the Lumini Trail.
