Fleischbank
Description
The starting point of the tour is the small village of Fall near the Sylvenstein reservoir. From here, the route takes you along gravel and steadily uphill across the German/Austrian border to the Roßangerl hunting lodge. There are still a few meters to pedal here before you finally reach an altitude of around 1700 meters above sea level, pushing and carrying your bike onto the saddle and then up to the Fleischbank (2028 meters above sea level). At the Fleischbank, you have a magnificent view and fantastic mountain panorama, especially in autumn.
The trail descent is just as magnificent. There's a slight hint of a multi-terrain trail as you circle countless hairpin bends and ride different trail sections on difficulty levels S2 to S3. In between, there are some S1 flow passages, which make up the majority of the route, especially between the hairpin bends. Finally, you reach the asphalt road in the Rißtal valley and wind your way back to the starting point in Fall on asphalt and side roads on gravel.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.

A really beautiful tour. Unfortunately, however, from shortly after the Austrian border you are plagued by no cycling signs on the forest roads. I was also overtaken by vehicles several times in late fall, fortunately without consequences. However, you should be aware that cyclists are not welcome here, just like everywhere else around Lake Achensee. It is probably more acceptable here as an alpine farmer or forester to pollute the air in the nature reserve with a fat SUV.
The trail is great though, with a long, rooty crossing at the top that you have to push through, and a few tricky sections further down towards the S4.
