From the cable car mountain station, you cross the village of Jeizinen and climb around 400 meters in altitude to Undere Fäsilalpu on an alpine road through sparse forest. After the alp, the road becomes narrower and very steep in places, so you quickly climb another 300 meters in altitude and turn right at Alp Grindji onto the hiking trail to Heruhubel. The remaining ascent is generally rideable, but requires technical and fitness skills. Once you reach the small plain at Heruhubel, it is worth taking a look down, as you have a large part of the Rhone Valley in front of you. This is followed by a fun descent via Oberi Meiggu, Underi Meiggu and along a high-level trail back to Jeizinen. The trail is not difficult, but rides through very steep terrain in several sections.
