Wonderful bike gate! Carrying and pushing is part of a high alpine tour. The descent from the Restipass is great cinema. Technically demanding at times, but rideable almost all the way. A highlight of the season for me.
From Restalp to the top of the pass, the bike has to be carried for about 500m over 4km. The descent to Wysse See is very technical and demanding. Until shortly before Rinderhütte, the flow doesn't really want to set in. The rest to Gampel Steg mainly follows Route 41 and is great fun. From Unterer Fäsilalpu the trail is awesome. Tìpp, from Erschmatt it gets rough and enough air in the rear tire might save you from plugging holes.
