Ulmizberg
Description
From Köniz, the route first follows the main road to Niederscherli, turning left at the end of the village and following the edge of the forest to Schliern. Now you climb via Schliernberg on a forest road up to the viewing tower on the Ulmizberg, where you have to push your bike for a few short sections over the last few meters. The descent is on the south side to Oberulmiz and then rides via Gütsch and Obere Wald up to Lisiberg. From here, too, there are excellent views of the Bernese Alps. The descent from Lisiberg is on the north side and rides via Egg to Oberscherli. Once again you climb up a little to be able to descend through Burisholz north of Niederscherli to Gasel. The return journey to Könizberg now takes you directly to the starting point or with a detour via the Mängistorfberg.

The Ulmizer has a really cool trail that’s also a bit technical (S2). Plus, you can easily combine it with the Bremer Loop, which adds some great trail sections to the ride. If you like flow trails with jumps, you can also include the Gurten. Here’s a route I put together that combines the Ulmizer and the Bremer Loop:

Beautiful scenery - but that's about it. This tour no longer meets the requirements of today's bikers and is at best a gravel tour (if at all). Only from Oberscherli is there a single trail with a few roots and steeper descents. Instead of asphalt to Lisberg, there are a few little paths through the forest. The route should be removed from the portal or completely revised.
The route is not passable before the Ulmizberg (below the transmission tower) as this path is blocked off several times by pasture fences. If you ride the route up the Ulmizberg as marked, the bike does not have to be pushed. In the lower part of the Mängistorfberg, there would be less steep ascents - there you would definitely have to push. There would also be much more interesting variants on the descent at the back. Nice round tour without trail fun. I wonder how old this tour is... probably from the time when people were still riding 26" bikes and without dropper posts!
Nice round trip. Unfortunately not 1 meter of singletrail included. And if you follow the route exactly, you also miss the view from the Ulmizer. Riding technique at best a 2
