The band Stiller Has has already sung about this tour. "Lue wie d velöle velöle mit ihrne velo" they sing and could be referring to the mountain bikers who ride along the single trails of the Aare from Thun to Bern or vice versa.

Description

There's not much you can do wrong on the tour from Thun to Bern - simply follow the banks of the Aare. From Thun, the route initially follows the right bank, but then changes sides at Schützefahrbrügg near Münsingen and rides to the left as far as the sports facilities in Schönau. From here, you can reach the town center via district roads. The route is perfect for beginners or for commuters who want to take in a few nice single trails on their way to work. It can be ridden in both directions.
