Greberegg
Description
From Spiez, ride via Hondrich and Aeschi in the direction of Suldtal to Aeschiried, although this section could also be done by post bus. In Aeschireid, turn left and climb up a small road to Aeschiallmi with its fantastic view of Lake Thun. Now the road turns into a singletrail, here the bike has to be pushed a few meters. With an e-bike, this section can just about be ridden. You then continue along the ridge to Greberegg. This is the highest point at just under 1600 meters above sea level. The descent now leads through the wild and steep area north of the Morgenberghorn. The first section to Fulwasser is technically demanding and often wet. However, you soon reach a forest road, which descends slightly to the bridge over the Eybach, but then climbs again to just below Alp Leissigbärgli. Now begins the long descent to Lake Thun. This leads almost exclusively over fun and flowing trails. The descent leads to the lakeshore at Därligen, from where you can take the train back to Spiez. The return journey on the lakeside road under your own steam would be quite long and sometimes very busy - the train is the more sensible option.

I rode the tour on 17.05.25 and it was a really cool after-work tour with the eMTB in 1:45h. It was all rideable but the tour is only fun if you like riding down steep slopes and are technically fit, otherwise the descent is more of a brake and forearm torture ;-).
The path is not always clearly visible, but the hiking trail markings are clearly visible throughout, so be careful even when riding fast :-)

I was less convinced by the tour, but it was also a bit muddy. But the descent to Därligen is good
i did this tour on 20.08.2017. i recommend the tour especially after a longer dry period. the section around "fulwasser" is difficult in wet conditions. in addition, the turnoff from fulwasser at p.1384 is hardly recognizable. otherwise, the further down you go, the easier it gets and the fewer cow gates there are (possibly ride in autumn). all in all, nice tour, i would confirm the information on the tour rating.
