Pizalun
Description
The tour starts immediately after the Tardis bridge over the Rhine from Landquart to Mastrils. Follow the country road to Bad Ragaz for a few meters until a mountain road branches off to the left to Pfäfers. Follow this road to Pfäfers and continue through the Tamina valley. Shortly before the hamlet of Vadura, turn left towards Bläs and climb up a forest path to the Golerberg farm and finally to Fürgglichopf, the start of the descent to Mastrils. From here, less technically experienced bikers take the forest trail to Mastrils, while more technically experienced bikers take the challenging trail across the alpine meadow directly downhill to Mastrils.
Alternative: Ascent instead of through the Tamina Valley from Mastrils directly to Fürgglichopf

The description from Pfäfers does not match the route and the map. You could use the description of the "Sarganser Frühlingstour" #1502 here:
"... and now climb up on the road to Pfäfers. At a turn-off, keep left on a very steep asphalt road to Furggels. From the small village you climb up to Pizalun on a singletrail. Well-trained bikers ride most of the singletrail ascent. The viewing platform on the Pizalun can be reached via a small ladder and the view is stunning. Incidentally, the Regitzer Spitz, which you climbed earlier, can be seen opposite. The descent now leads almost exclusively along fun single trails, past the Naturfreundehaus near Jägeri and finally to the mountain road above Mastrils. Here you turn sharp right, pass Prafieb and reach Mastrils via Isla."
Due to the ascent from Furggels to Pizalun, I would also set the technical requirement at 3 instead of 2.
Great panorama, flowing trails, what more could you want...

The ascent on the road may be unspectacular, but in good company it is quickly mastered, and the view at the top is simply magnificent. Everything is easy to ride on an e-MTB. The level of difficulty is of course subjective, but for experienced riders who like to ride at speed, the trail has its appeal. Beginners can also get down without any problems, albeit a little slower. Perhaps one day someone will find a better route for the last few meters in altitude, which unfortunately have to be tackled on asphalt at the moment - a real shame.
It took us about 2.5 hours to complete the tour on an e-bike. I would classify the rider level as experienced. All in all, it's a short but sweet tour, ideal for in between or if you're just passing through.
Great to ride with an e-bike. The climb is super steep. But I found it very beautiful.
Downhill I found it rather easy to very easy.
Super tour. Most of the ascent is a bit boring on an asphalt road with little traffic. The view is great. The way down is really great and varied, meadow, forest, stony. A bit slippery when wet.
I rode this tour in 2015, absolutely beautiful tour with many single trails. But also super scenic. Here is my report: https://vivalagrischa.wordpress.com/2015/11/01/chimmispitz-via-pizalun/

Ascent 10-17 degree gradient.
For well-trained trail riders who are confident on the descent, as some of the paths are narrow.
But the mega view makes up for it.
The trail / hiking trail is very, very cool. You can practise transferring very well in the Spitzkeeren.
I was up there today on 10.11. From Margarethenberg there was a lot of snow in places and also on the descent, so you have to be careful in some places where it gets narrow. I really enjoyed the descent. Beautiful stone passages on the descent. great tour also for the pre-winter time when there is already a lot of snow high up but you still want to ride such trails.
The ascent is on an asphalt road.
I parked at the train station in Landquart.
Top tour. I'll certainly do it again in summer.
Attention: the tour description does not match the map. If you follow the description and take the turn-off before Vadura to Bläs and then the forest road, you end up on the Chimmispitz...
