Wildenberg
Description
From Mels, you climb up the mountain road directly from the town center, past St. Martin's Chapel and always in the direction of Vermol. Shortly before Plattmal, take a left serpentine straight ahead onto a forest path and follow this past the Chapfensee lake to Parmort. Follow the path until a rather steep alpine path on the left rides up along the Cholschlagerbach stream. You soon reach an asphalt road again, follow it uphill over several hairpin bends and branch off to the right at an alp to Wildenberg, the mountain station of the small cable car. The first part of the descent is on the asphalt mountain road until a flowing single trail branches off to the right. After 300 meters you reach the mountain road again, follow it to Egg and then turn left onto the single trail to Flums. You return to Mels along the Seez river

Very beautiful, not too difficult trails. Ideal with an eBike in half a day. Great to extend with the ascent to the "Hintersäss" at 1776 m. With an easy meadow trail to the mountain station. From there as in the description.
were a bit disappointed. Trails at the beginning mainly over meadows, as soon as you really get going the whole thing ends. Found the trail at the end from Portals to Flums the best. But I don't have to ride up the Wildenberg for that....
Full of desire! Quite an exhausting 97% ascent on asphalt (at 33°C in Mels...), followed by super nice single trails to ride down. Above Flums there are one or two rather incomprehensible (official) bike bans. A tour worth recommending! Thank you!

According to the description, there are not very many trails. Your opinion?
