Six Blanc | Ride MTB

Six Blanc

The Six Blanc is the panoramic mountain between the Val de Bagnes and the Val d'Entremont. The entire length of this spectacular singletrail tour is for trained experts, but can be shortened as desired.

Description

From Le Châble, you head uphill along forest paths to Bruson, continue through the Dzeu du Mâ to La Côt and via Tseppiet in the direction of Col de Mille. In the left-hand bend just before the Alp, you head into a singletrail to the Montagne du Six Blanc and finally fight your way up to the ridge. The first descent begins. The trail leads steeply and windingly downhill and requires an experienced riding technique. It ends at the hamlet of Chamoille d'Orisères, from where you can return to Le Châble with a clear conscience. But we climb another 700 meters in altitude to just below the Larzai Alp. The reason for the effort is the upcoming descent. It is sometimes fast, then technical, rooty, then smooth as silk, moderate in places, then extremely steep again. It ends right on the riverbank. You return to Le Châble on a forest road.

Alternatives: Ride only the first or only the second half of the tour; climb from La Côt to the Montagne du Six Blanc
