The route starts in Lovran on the Kvarner Bay near Rijeka. From here, you pedal along the coastal road and at Ičići take the uphill section over the pass road to the Poklon Pass. At the pass (approx. 950 meters above sea level) you already have a lot behind you and can fill up your water reserves here for the last time. The route then continues on asphalt with a slight incline to the summit of Vojak (Učka). The summit is elevated with a small tower and thus offers a fabulous panoramic view over the whole of Istria and the Mediterranean Sea.

The downhill trail runs directly from the summit, past the military base along the ridge on difficulty levels S2 to S3 up to an altitude of around 1150 meters above sea level. From here, the trail climbs again, crosses the Učka with its fantastic sea view and then takes the gravel road to Sedlo. Once at Sedlo, the trail leads to Mala Učka. On difficulty S2 to S3, the trail leads to the mountain pasture. From the mountain pasture you roll down a few meters before you have to plan a small uphill and finally start the descent to Medveja. On difficulty level S2, in places S3, the route follows the entire ridge to Visoče. In Visoče, you pass an old agricultural hamlet. However, it is no longer run and the farming has been abandoned. The result is a lost place in the form of a ghost town. Some of the clothing and living utensils can still be found in the buildings. From Visoče comes the most bizarre part of the tour. At an altitude of around 300 meters, you ride up what feels like an endless number of irregularly spaced steps to Medveja. This is the latest point where you get feedback on whether the suspension is set correctly. Once you arrive in Medveja, you feel like you're in the Caribbean. Turquoise blue water, a fantastic beach and a nice atmosphere as well as culinary delights await you. From Medveja, take the leisurely coastal road back to Lovran.
