Kičelj Rjecina-Klippe
Description
The tour starts in the small but picturesque village of Dražice. The route starts on asphalt before riding steadily uphill on gravel after a few small trail sections. Finally, you pedal below Obruč through the plateaus and, after a short, crisp climb, you reach the Rjecina cliff, also known as Kičelj. Here you have a magnificent view of the source of the Rjecina, and you can clearly hear the rushing water. This is also where the downhill begins. Initially at difficulty level S2, S3, the bike has to be pushed off for a short time before you reach a cart track and the trail continues at difficulty level S2, occasionally S3, which takes you down to the river. If you want, you can pedal back along the mule track to the source of the Rjecina and watch the ice-cold water emerge from the karst as a spring.
The route then continues along the river and at Trnovica on asphalt to a small counter-climb before you reach the legendary enduro stages. From here, the route continues with difficulty levels S1, S2 down towards Lubarska. From Lubarska, a small counter-climb concludes the tour in Dražice.
Note: In the summer months of July and August, the tour is not particularly recommended due to the high temperatures and low altitude, as it can be very unpleasant. You should also watch out for shepherd dogs, especially when crossing herds of sheep and cows in the hinterland.
