Breitenstein-Runde

Breitenstein-Runde

Scenic tour on the Breitenstein with a view of the Wendelstein. Some of the trails are interspersed with roots and rocks and you can test your biking skills on the Steinklammern Steig climb.

Description

The tour begins in Fischbachau on Birkensteinstrasse, soon following the signs to Kesselalm halfway up on the left-hand side. The forest road climbs steeply and after about four kilometers you leave the Kesselalm on the left and ride further up. Once you reach the saddle, continue right to the Aiblinger Hütte. An easy trail begins here, which soon becomes very rocky. At the bottom you come to a forest road and ride towards Eibleck. There you turn left up to the Steingraber Alm. Before the pasture, turn left across the meadow into the forest, where an up and down on a technical trail with many large rocks begins. If you want to ride everything, you have to be very skillful. The Bucher Alm soon appears, you ride past it on the left and now the trail begins. A lot of roots line the trail and it rumbles quite a bit. In the lower part, the roots become fewer and soon you reach the forest road and then turn left onto the Prälat Haindl Weg, which leads back to Fischbachau.
