Monte Cravadora
Description
From Levanto, take the SP38 and ride up to Colle di Gritta. Once here, continue up the SP38, reach Passo Termine and roll down the road for about a kilometer until a very steep side road branches off to the right. At a crossroads, the no less steep ascent to Monte Cravadora begins. The nature here is very rustic and you feel like you are in the jungle, everything is very overgrown. On Monte Cravadora, the trail starts out very flowy along the slope, then descends steeply towards Pignone. The lower part is very technical and you have to descend a few times. After the technical challenge, you arrive in Pignone and can take a coffee break in the small village.
After that, you ride back up the SP38. After a while, turn right onto a side road that leads onto the Strada Bardellone. The trail of the same name begins near Monte Crocetolla, which leads down to Colle di Gritta in a very flowing and fast descent. The downhill fun ends quickly, however, as the trail is not very long. At Colle di Gritta, we cross the main road and continue riding downhill on a forest road. You come to Trail 574 Fontana and ride down this narrow, rather technical trail to Fontana. Once in Fontana, take the tarmac road to the right through the hairpin bend and then immediately onto the next trail, cross the road again and the last section of trail awaits. Once back on the SP38, roll back to Levanto. Difficulty level of the trails S2 to S4.
