Monte Incisa – Deiva Marina
Description
In Levanto, you ride along the beach promenade towards Framura. An old railroad line has been converted into a cycle path and leads for six kilometers through countless tunnels to Framura. Take the SP41 up to Costa di Framura and ride through the small village. At the end of the village, a concrete path leads to Cadelazzino. After a while you meet the SP41 again and in Piazza you turn right onto the SP40. Unfortunately, you ride up a lot of tarred roads here, but it is definitely worth it. When you reach the start of the Tagliamento Deiva Trail, you first have to push or carry your bike. Then you ride up the trail to Monte Incisa, from where you have a very beautiful view before the downhill fun begins.
The trail runs along the slope and on the ridge and is not very difficult. In the lower part, it gets a little rougher and steeper, but everything is still easy to ride. Shortly before the end, there are a few very steep sections until you are finally spit out in Deiva Marina. We recommend taking a break here, as the way back is long. Continue uphill on the SP40 until you reach the SP41 and Castagnola. Here a small road branches off to the left and the road becomes very steep. From the middle, the road surface changes to gravel and you ride up to Colle di Guaitarola. The burnt pine forest creates a very special atmosphere. You roll a few meters down the main road and turn left onto a forest road and soon come to the 2819 trail. The partly laid out trail is very flowy, with a few jumps you come to La Rossola, where you can stop for a bite to eat. Continuing along the bumpy, blocked Tornantini Trail, you reach the SP41 above Levanto and roll back to Levanto.
