Tarrenton Alm
Description
The route starts in Tarrenz in the Tyrolean Oberland. From here, the route initially rides leisurely on asphalt along the cycle path towards Nassereith. Nestled between the striking mountain ridges of the Mieminger Kette and the Tyrolean Oberland, the route then climbs on gravel with even and medium gradients through the high valley up to the Tarrentonalm. You can stop for a bite to eat at the mountain hut before continuing on a gravel road to the start of the trail cutter.
The descent is technically easy but extremely scenic. On sections of difficulty S1, occasionally S2, the trail rides over the Jochkreuz with impressive views of the surrounding mountains back to Tarrenz. The route runs mainly on gravel paths and through sections overgrown with pine trees, which gives it a particularly harmonious character. All in all, a flowing tour that perfectly combines enjoyment and scenery.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.
