Wilkethöchi

The Necker Valley is located in northern Toggenburg and, with the Wilkethöchi, offers a wonderful and singletrail-rich loop for mountain bikers.

Description

From Brunnadern, ride a few meters out of the valley to Necker, then turn right and reach Ebersol on an asphalt road. Follow the road uphill for a few meters until a path branches off to the right on the hill to Alp Spitzbad. After the alp, the path becomes steeper and finally you reach the ridge below the Wilkethöchi on a short singletrail section. If you want, you can fight your way up to it, otherwise the downhill trail back to Brunnadern starts here on the ridge. Stay on the technically challenging trail along the ridge until you reach Alp Oberberg, from where the path winds its way directly down to Brunnadern.

Tip: The tour can be combined with the "Wissbachschlucht" route and started from Herisau or St. Gallen.
