Honegga Bellwald Goms Wallis

Leaving the trails of the Bellwald bike park in Upper Valais, you will find a challenging and long singletrail descent to the village of Selkingen in Goms. Thanks to the chairlift, there are only 200 meters of altitude difference to get to the start of the almost 1500-meter descent.

Description

From the Furggulti mountain station in Bellwald, follow the hiking trail to Mittelsee, first riding, then mostly pushing, and after around 200 meters in altitude you will reach the transition below the Honeggerhorn. This is where the descent begins, on the upper 400 meters of altitude through pathless but mostly rideable terrain. Always follow the red and white signs. A little below Alp Bru you cross a stream, after which the real downhill fun begins past Alp Hanspill. You have over 1000 Elevation loss of first-class, challenging singletrail ahead of you, with the trail leading down along the fall line through the Selkingen forest. You then reach Selkingen and ride along the Rotten river to Biel railroad station.

Somewhat ambivalent about this tour. The first part is rather tedious because you have to search for the trail.
The trail gets better from the start of the forest. Relatively steep, quite fun in parts.
To sum up, I wouldn't do this tour again, there are better things to do in the area.
