Monte di Traso – Super G
Description
Start at Torrente Bisagno, near the small hamlet of La Presa. From there, the route climbs steadily uphill on asphalt along Via Giovanni Cevasco, through populated areas and on through the village of Traso. You fight your way up, altitude meter by altitude meter, until you reach the plateau of Monte di Traso - and thus the highest point of the tour - after around 730 altitude meters. The view here is particularly impressive due to the sparse vegetation in the summit area, especially in autumn and spring when the views are clear and far-reaching.
The trail descent then begins. The trail starts directly at the antenna or radio station and is marked Sentiero 402. At first, the trail rides slightly outside the vegetation boundary, then later through classic beech forests, steadily downhill. At Scaglia, you reach an asphalt road again, but can continue riding towards the valley via some flowing trail cut-offs.
In summary, an interesting, solid trail descent with difficulty S2, occasionally S3, which effectively converts the previously climbed meters of altitude into riding fun.
